- Pay a bill
- File something
- Put shoes away
- Declutter a section of a drawer, cabinet, etc.
- Play with child (fun things need to be on the list, too)
- Put away some laundry
- Fold some laundry
- Put a load of laundry in washer
- Wipe one counter
- etc., etc., etc.
I don't get hung up trying to clean an entire area. I just do the next thing on the list. You can create your own list with checkboxes (or if you email me I'll be glad to send you mine). I've found that breaking it down into smaller chunks makes it more doable for me. I don't spend time procrastinating about everything that needs to be done. Instead, I'm actually doing something. Plus looking at all those items that I have checked off gives me a real sense of accomplishment. When the list is completed, I put up another one and start all over again.

I agree 100% about making lists. I like to break my chores into smaller chunks too...makes me feel like I've accomplished more and I don't feel so overwhelmed. If it were not for lists...I would be a total disaster area! LOL!
